DESCRIPTION:Greetings:\n\n \n\nIt is my pleasure to invite you to the Henry County Branch NAACP's Annual 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr (MLK-Day) Prayer Breakfast. "Rewarding the Work in the Community" is the theme for this year's celebration.  We have all been affected by the challenges of COVID-19 and we want to take this opportunity to support and highlight our community for being so resilient. \n\n \n\nThe Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for 9:30 am on Saturday\, January 15\, 2022. The location is Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church\, 397 Racetrack Road\, McDonough\, GA 30253.\n\n \n\nAt this year's\, breakfast\, the NAACP will also sponsor a Youth Essay and Poetry contest. We welcome entries from our community youth that express thoughts and ideas on any aspect of Dr. King's life and legacy. Of course we also plan to conduct our annual MLK DAY Parade/Peace March on Monday\, January 17th\, followed by a youth program after the parade at the Henry County PAC Center located at 37 Lemon Street\, McDonough\, GA 30253. \n\n \n\nPlease log on to our website at: https://www.henrycountyganaacp.org to purchase tickets or for instruction on registering for the parade.
