DESCRIPTION:Invest in Yourself with SHRM Certification\n\nEarn the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP ) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP ) and prove your knowledge\, competency\, and value to colleagues and to employers looking for a competitive edge in today's global economy.\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the Greater Henry County Chapter of SHRM will offer a SHRM Learning System in-person Certification Prep Class in 2026! These classes will be in-person and are designed to expand your HR knowledge and competencies to prepare you for the SHRM certification exam.\n\nThis study group is based on the SHRM Learning System which offers personalized learning that adjusts to your unique learning style. You'll learn to apply HR knowledge and competencies to real-life situations and maximize exam readiness practice questions\, including 160 retired exam questions\, as well as interactive tools. There's no better way to successfully prepare for SHRM certification.\n\nAs an HR professional\, many of you may already know the benefits of certification.  To summarize\, benefits of SHRM certification include:\n\n          Boost your confidence and recognition.\n\n          Demonstrate mastery of the competencies and knowledge most important to organizations as defined by the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge  (SHRM BASK ).\n\n          Expand your scope within the HR field and bring new ideas to drive business success within your organization.\n\n          Stand out from other HR candidates in a job search.\n\n          Demonstrate your long-term commitment to the HR profession.\n\n          Protect your organization from risk by ensuring regulatory compliance.\n\nTo conduct our certification prep class\, SHRM requires a minimum of five participants. \n\nSpecifics about the upcoming classes are:\n\nClasses will be held on the following Saturdays\, 8am   3:30pm\, at the Mercer University Regional Academic Center (RAC)\, 160 Henry Parkway Connector\, McDonough\, GA 30253.\n\nClass Dates: March 7\, 2026 - May 2\, 2026 (Will not meet the weekend of April 4th).\n\nSHRM Spring Testing Window:  \n\n*Cost:    Henry SHRM Member:              $890\n\n               Non-Henry SHRM Member:      $1090 \n\n*Cost includes all course printed material as well as access to online resources. Course participation cost is significantly less than purchasing the SHRM e-Learning system individually.
