Henry County Blessing of the First Baby Box
Join Henry County Fire Rescue for a special community event celebrating the blessing of Georgia’s first Safe Haven Baby Box at Henry County Fire Station 6.
The blessing ceremony will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Station 6, located at 30 Fairview Road, Ellenwood, GA 30294.
The Safe Haven Baby Box provides a safe and secure option for parents who may be unable to care for a newborn. This important resource offers a confidential and protected way for an infant to be surrendered, helping ensure that babies are safely cared for and connected with the support they need.
The community is invited to attend this meaningful occasion as Henry County Fire Rescue and local partners recognize the importance of protecting and providing for Georgia’s most vulnerable residents.
