Piedmont Henry Hospital offers food and fitness camp for kids
Kids ages 11 to 14 years old have the opportunity to learn in a fun, interactive way how to make smarter food and activity choices that can lead to healthier futures through the Ignite food and fitness camp offered this summer by Piedmont Henry Hospital.
The five-day Ignite camp will be held twice this year - June 17 through June 21 and July 8 through July 12. Camp is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Momentum Christian Church in Stockbridge. During camp, hospital dietitians will work with fitness instructors to help kids learn about nutrition, engage in exercise sessions, take part in cooking demonstrations and gain confidence in making healthy food choices.
Each camp is $50. Registration is required as space is limited. Register by calling 678-604-5106 before June 7.
