Henry County Schools, Division of Learning & Performance: Office of Language Arts, would like to extend the invitation to our fellow community members to join us in creating a dynamic learning experience for K-12 literacy educators as we prepare to kick off the district’s Henry Reads initiative. Taking place at Hampton High School, Tuesday, June 11, 2024, and Wednesday, June 12, 2024, this year’s theme is “Henry Reads: Lifting and Shifting Literacy Practices.”  This conference style summit is designed to provide teachers with opportunities to learn strategies for strengthening instructional practices.

We are thrilled to offer an unparalleled opportunity for K-12 educators to dive deep into the world of literacy education.  This intentionally planned Professional Learning Experience will feature an array of strategy sessions led by nationally and locally recognized experts. Our dynamic keynote speaker, renowned for their inspiring and impactful messages, promises to ignite passion and equip our teachers with innovative tools to enhance their teaching practices.

Our summit is designed to foster a community of learning where educators can share insights, challenge thinking, and explore a diverse range of session options tailored to meet the needs of all grade levels and leadership roles.
