Dear Friends,

As I reflect on the many years we have shared—growing, working, celebrating, and overcoming together—I am reminded of how blessed we are to still be here… still standing… and still called to make a difference.

 We have seen a lot, lived through a lot, and learned even more—and with that comes a responsibility. Our young people are facing challenges unlike anything we’ve seen before. Many of them are searching for identity, direction, and hope. And now, more than ever, they need us.

This is Georgia’s very first historic, faith-based debutante ball of its kind, distinguished not only by its elegance and purpose — but because all ethnicities are welcome and represented. And in true Atlanta spirit — the cradle of the Civil Rights Movement — our Debutantes will be escorted by diverse young men from JROTC programs across the state, symbolizing honor, leadership, and the strength of our future. Together, we are making history by ensuring that every girl, regardless of her background, can experience a moment that affirms her value, cultivates her leadership, and opens doors to lifelong opportunity.  

Our goal is not simply to host an event—we are building legacy. Through scholarship support, leadership development, etiquette and career training, and community service, we are preparing these young ladies to step fully into the bright future God has promised them.

You know my heart and the foundation of my faith: Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This has always been my motto, and now we have the opportunity to put this scripture into action.

We may be grandparents and parents now… but we are still trailblazers.

We may move a little slower… but our wisdom is richer and stronger.

We may be still wearing high heels and some wearing comfort shoes… but our steps still matter in this world.

This mission—this moment—belongs to us. We are the generation that must ensure that our children and their children inherit more than memories. They must inherit opportunities.

So I ask you, from a place of love and legacy:
Will you join me?
Will you step up and sow into the future with a scholarship gift that reflects your belief in what our young women can become?
