Henry County Parks and Recreation Special Olympics will host a Turkey Trot this year on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025. Turkey Trot sponsors will help ensure the success of our year-round program. We provide training and competition for over 200 athletes and partners. We compete at the state, national, and international levels in athletics, aquatics, basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, bocce, snow skiing, equestrian, powerlifting, kayaking, cheerleading, bowling, golf, pickleball, and tennis.
 
We have two teams traveling to Oklahoma City for USA Nationals, and in 2026, our unified team, consisting of 7 athletes and 7 partners, will travel to Minnesota, representing TEAM GEORGIA in the USA GAMES. Your donation allows athletes to attend such competitions and events.
