Black Money Movement African Gala
On behalf of Black Money Movement, I hope this message finds you thriving in purpose and impact. As an HBCU graduate-founded organization committed to economic empowerment and cultural excellence, we are reaching out to request an opportunity to share an extraordinary upcoming event with members of The Henry County Chamber of Commerce.

The African Gala, hosted by Black Money Movement, is an experience designed to unite educators, students, advocates, entrepreneurs, and visionaries in one room to celebrate culture while advancing financial literacy and economic circulation within our communities.
Tickets are available until Friday, March 13th at midnight. We would be honored to extend this opportunity to Henry County Chamber of Commerce members for the chance to join Black Money Movement as we launch in the state of Georgia.

Here is the itinerary:

Here is the itinerary:
Scene I: The Power of Financial Literacy & Legacy
Our opening speakers set the tone for transformation:
- Solanke Bomani, Henry County Chamber of Commerce Member and HBCU graduate and Founder of Black Money Movement, will speak passionately about protecting our families and equipping our communities with financial literacy tools. Her mission is bold: to help ensure that nearly $2 trillion in Black spending power circulates within our communities close to 100% of the time.
- Alphonse Eugene, former Marine Drill Sergeant and Founder of The Money Managing Marine, is a property management company owner, egg farmer, and the first self-made millionaire in his family. His testimony of discipline, ownership, and generational wealth-building will inspire students and faculty alike.
Scene II: African-Inspired Fashion Showcase
The Gala will feature a vibrant fashion presentation highlighting the elegance and cultural depth of Dupsie's African Clothing, Aso Elan, and Espresso Culture. Guests will experience stunning garments for men, women, and children — from dresses and dashikis to head wraps, jewelry, and accessories — celebrating African heritage through style and expression.
Scene III: East & West African Culinary Experience
Dinner will be curated by two highly celebrated Georgian restaurants:
- Ike's Cafe & Grill presenting West African favorites including jollof rice, egusi, and fufu.
- Bole Ethiopian Restaurant delivering East African cuisine with a rich variety of traditional sauces and injera.
The Celebration & Georgia Launch
The evening will conclude with a celebration honoring the official launch of Black Money Movement in the state of Georgia — a movement rooted in unity, ownership, and economic strategy.
Additionally, a pre-Gala Meet & Greet will be hosted by Cubano Cigars from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on the outdoor deck at Merle Manders Conference Center, offering cigar enthusiasts a space for elevated networking (cigars, spirits, refreshments, and music) before the main program begins.
We believe this experience aligns powerfully with the mission of Henry County Chamber of Commerce - to cultivate leaders, thinkers, and changemakers in Henry County.
