Business Certifications 101
Are You Ready To Breakthrough And Get To The Next Level in Your Business?
Certifications may help your business gain exposure to additional opportunities and contacts, and assist you in obtaining certain government and/or corporate contracts that need to meet requirements and goals for diverse business owner participation.
If you want to take advantage of the many private and public programs specifically created to help women, minority, veteran and small businesses, your business must choose the right certification.
The type of certification you seek depends on the programs you’d like to participate in. The Federal Government, state and local agencies, and private sectors all have different types of certifications. While there’s some overlap between them, you’ll want to understand the differences and how to leverage them for new opportunities.
The goal of this series is to help you identify which certifications are right for your company, and identify companies and government agencies that are procuring your goods or services.
