FLEX Business Plan Workshop - Hampton

🚨 FLEX APPLICATIONS CLOSE SEPTEMBER 24!

Have a business idea? Your first step is simple: tell us you're interested.

Students in grades 9–12 can apply for the 2026–27 FLEX program through 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 24. You don't need to have your entire business figured out or a completed business plan when you apply!

But once applications close, it's time to get to work. 💡

FLEX applicants will be required to develop and submit a business plan for Round 1—and we're giving you an opportunity to get ahead of the game.

The workshop will be led by Richard Schnitker, longtime business professional and Business Consultant with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Clayton State University, alongside Morrelle McCrary, accomplished business owner and CEO of RAM-Tech PC Solutions.

Together, they'll bring both business development expertise and real-world entrepreneurial experience into the room. During this interactive workshop, we'll break down the pieces of a business plan, use RAM-Tech PC Solutions as a live business case study, and help students begin applying what they learn to their own business ideas.

This isn't just a workshop to sit and listen—we want students asking questions, working through their ideas, and beginning to build the plan they'll need for Round 1.
