Gordon State College Presents Blithe Spirit
Blithe Spirit---Gordon State Theatre is presenting four showings of Blithe Spirit at the Fine Arts Auditorium at 419 College Drive Barnesville. The show synopsis is below: “Charles Condomine”, a novelist, and his wife, “Ruth”, have invited their friends and a local homicidal spiritualist, “Madame Arcati”, for dinner. Much to the surprise of the two couples, supernatural manifestations make the table tremble, Madame Arcati falls into a trance, and Charles hears the voice of Elvira, his deceased first wife... Hilarity ensues. Gordon State College's production includes a preshow of torch singing from popular music standards of the time, including Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Kurt Weill.

Tickets can be purchased by using the link https://www.purplepass.com/organizer/71837. General admission is $10.00, Seniors (65+) $7.00, and Children (12 and under or non-GSC College Students) $5.00. There is a nominal fee when paying by card. Payments can also be made at the door.
