Anglyn Family Medical Center Joins Piedmont

McDonough (Oct. 11, 2024) - Recently, Anglyn Family Medical Center in McDonough joined Piedmont
and held a ribbon cutting to announce their new partnership and name; Piedmont Physicians Anglyn
Internal Medicine. With over 1,875 Piedmont Clinic physician practices, Piedmont cares for more than 4
million patients and serves communities throughout Georgia.

The practice has been caring for people in and around McDonough since 1957 with Dr. Bob Foster.
Derrell Anglyn, M.D. joined Dr. Foster’s practice in 1984 and took over the practice the following year
when Dr. Foster retired. Adam Anglyn, D.O., Derrell’s son, began practicing with his father in 2018. Adam
is a graduate of Henry County High School and Georgia Tech. He got his medical degree at Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at Southeastern
Regional Medical Center.
