Henry County Recognizes Service, Inclusion and Community Impact Through April 2026 Proclamations

HENRY COUNTY, GA — April 15, 2026— This month, Henry County proudly recognizes several important observances that highlight service, compassion and community impact. At Tuesday evening’s regular commission meeting, the Board of Commissioners issued proclamations recognizing Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, Autism Awareness Month, National Donate Life Month and Goodwill of North Georgia’s 100th anniversary.
 
During Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (April 12-18, 2026), we honor the dedicated professionals who serve as the critical link between residents and emergency services.
 
In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, we promote understanding, inclusion and support for individuals and families affected by autism.
 
National Donate Life Month underscores the life-saving importance of organ, eye and tissue donation while honoring donors and recipients.
 
Finally, we celebrate Goodwill’s 100th Anniversary, recognizing a century of empowering individuals through job training and workforce development.
 
Together, these proclamations reflect Henry County’s commitment to public safety, inclusivity, public health and opportunity for all.




Representatives of Henry County’s Police and Fire Communications (E-911) Department accepted the proclamation for Public Safety Telecommunicators Week








Henry County Government officials and staff accepted the proclamation for Autism Awareness Month.











Cassie Borderieux of LifeLink of Georgia, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donations, accepted the proclamation for National Donate Life Month.








Donovan Jackson and representatives of Goodwill of North Georgia accepted the proclamation issued by the Board of Commissioners.
