HCWA Hosting Fall Supplier Conference to Network with Local Vendors

Event targets locally owned, women-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses.

Who: The Henry County Water Authority (HCWA)

What: Hosting a Fall Supplier Conference for local vendors interested in doing business with the Authority.

When: Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: The HCWA Headquarters Campus, Engineering Building, 100 Westridge Industrial Blvd., McDonough, GA 30252

Why: To encourage locally owned, women-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses and individuals to network with HCWA staff and learn more about upcoming bid opportunities, capital projects, and procurement programs at the Authority. 

Note: The HCWA Fall Supplier Conference will feature a roundtable format to allow guests to meet directly with department staff, including IT business services. In addition, several current contractors working on HCWA projects will be in attendance for on-site recruiting, including Piedmont Construction Group, Lakeshore Engineering, and Professional Pipeline.
The HCWA Purchasing Department oversees the purchasing of high-quality goods, materials, equipment, and services at reasonable costs in a timely manner. The Purchasing Department is responsible for maintaining an open and competitive environment to ensure that all qualified buyers and sellers have access to HCWA business opportunities and that all purchasing actions are conducted fairly and impartially in the best interest of the Authority.
